Full Description

Wartales is an open-world tactical RPG developed and published by Shiro Games, released in April 2023. You lead a company of mercenaries through a medieval land, and the key activates on Steam. It is emailed right after payment.

About Wartales

A century has passed since a plague destroyed the Edoran Empire. The land is full of mercenary work, banditry and theft, and honor has almost disappeared. You are not the hero who will bring peace. Your goal is to survive and get rich, by whatever means it takes.

You recruit companions with their own specialties, skills, weapon preferences and personalities, and shape their skills, gear and looks as they progress. Combat is turn-based and tactical, so the right mix of characters, equipment and tactics wins fights. Between battles you craft items and build up your camp with luxuries and tools.

The open world holds villages, abandoned mines, tombs and old camps. You take contracts and bounties, from protecting villagers from petty thieves to taking down notorious figures, and slowly piece together the history of the land.

You can play alone or as a band of up to four players in co-op. Co-op players share money, loot and resources, and they end the day with a meal around the campfire.
