About Kenshi

Kenshi is a sandbox. There is no chosen hero and no fixed story, so you decide who you are in a harsh desert world. You might become a merchant, an outlaw, a farmer or a warlord, or end up as a slave or as food for cannibals.

You design as many characters as you like and build a squad that fights for you. Characters grow stronger with experience, and their appearance changes along with their stats. Every character you meet is a potential equal with a name and a life, and the world does not scale its enemies to your level.

You can buy and upgrade buildings to use as fortified havens or as the base of a business, research new technology and craft better gear. Factions control the land, and you can help them or work against them while you gather the strength and wealth to survive. The world keeps moving without you, and a capture by cannibals or a sale to slavers happens by chance, not by script.

How to activate

1. Install Steam and sign in to your Steam account.
2. Select Games → Activate a Product on Steam in the top menu.
3. Enter the key from your order email. The game is added to your library, ready to download.
