About Clair Obscur: Expedition 33

Every year the Paintress wakes and paints a number on her monolith, and everyone of that age or older turns to smoke. The number drops each year. Tomorrow she will paint 33, and Expedition 33 sets out on a last mission to destroy her. You lead the team, including Gustave and Maelle, through a fantasy setting that draws on Belle Époque France.

Combat is turn-based, with real-time actions on top. During a fight you can dodge, parry and counter, chain combos by learning attack rhythms and aim at weak points with a free aim system. Between fights you shape each Expeditioner through gear, stats, skills and synergies between characters.

The world map is full of secrets and hidden quests, such as the Island of Visages and the Forgotten Battlefield. You follow the trail of earlier expeditions to find out what happened to them, and you recruit companions who open up new ways to travel.

Which edition should I choose?

• Standard Edition: the base game.
• Deluxe Edition: the base game plus cosmetic outfits: the Flowers Collection (six outfits and hairstyles), six Gommage outfit variations (one per playable character), the Clair outfit for Maelle and the Obscur outfit for Gustave.

How to activate

1. Install Steam and sign in to your Steam account.
2. Select Games → Activate a Product on Steam in the top menu.

System requirements

The minimum setup targets 1080p at 30 fps on low settings, the recommended setup 1080p at 60 fps on high settings.
