About Call of Duty: Black Ops III

The game is built around three modes: a campaign, competitive multiplayer and Zombies. The campaign can be played alone or in co-op, and Steam also lists shared-screen play for the game.

Zombies is a mode of its own, and the Zombies Chronicles content on the Steam page adds eight remastered Zombies maps from Call of Duty: World at War, Black Ops and Black Ops II. Those older maps play inside Black Ops III, so you don’t need the earlier games.

On PC the game supports Steam Workshop, and Steam lists controller support, Remote Play and Family Sharing.

1. Sign in to your Microsoft account at microsoft.com/redeem, or open the Microsoft Store on your console and choose Redeem.
2. Enter the 25-character key from your order email and confirm.
3. The game is added to your account. Install it from My games & apps.

Online multiplayer needs a paid membership on consoles: a Game Pass membership with online play on Xbox.
