The Precinct is a single-player action sandbox about police work in the 1980s, developed by Fallen Tree Games, published by Kwalee and released in 2025. It is set in the fictional Averno City. The key activates on Steam for PC.

About The Precinct

You are Officer Nick Cordell Jr., a new beat cop straight from the Academy. Averno City is run by gangs, and your father was killed in the line of duty. You patrol the streets, answer callouts and try to find out who is behind his murder.

The city is a living sandbox with crimes of every size, from parking violations to bank heists, street racing and drug deals. You choose how to deal with them, whether in a chase, a shootout or an arrest. You get around on foot, by squad car and by helicopter, and the pursuits run through destructible environments. You can call in backup, including squad cars, roadblocks and spike strips.

The look is neon-noir: wet streets, lit alleys and parkland, with a day and night cycle and changing weather. The game draws on classic cop movies and the East Coast of the 1980s. Along the way you deal with ordinary citizens such as taxi drivers and street vendors, and you follow the gangs who control the city.

How to activate

Install Steam and sign in to your Steam account.
