About Stellaris

Every game starts with a civilization that has just found a way to travel between stars. Science ships survey the space around you and look into anomalies, while construction ships put stations around the planets you find. Anomalies lead to quests and strange discoveries that can change how your game turns out.

The galaxy is large and procedurally generated, so each new game gives you a different map. You decide how your society develops, meet other species, form alliances and, sooner or later, declare wars. As with other Paradox grand strategy games, the game keeps growing through free updates.

Steam lists multiplayer and cross-platform multiplayer, and Steam Workshop support is included for mods. You can play your own way, as a peaceful pioneer or a relentless conqueror.
