About Silent Hill f

The story takes place in Ebisugaoka, a secluded mountain town in 1960s Japan. A sudden fog covers the town, and Hinako Shimizu has to find her way through its twisted paths. She survives by working out puzzles and fighting off grotesque monsters.

The setting, the characters and the story were created for this game, and it works as a standalone story inside the Silent Hill series. The mystery was written by Ryukishi07, and the music includes pieces by Akira Yamaoka. The sound design draws on Japanese tradition and uses 3D audio.

Your first playthrough ends with a fixed conclusion. From the second playthrough on, your choices shape the outcome, and there are five endings in total.

Which edition should I choose?

• Standard Edition: the base game.
• Digital Deluxe Edition: the game plus a digital artbook, a digital soundtrack and the Pink Rabbit costume, which changes Hinako’s appearance.
