About Monster Hunter World: Iceborne

The expansion sends the Research Commission to the Hoarfrost Reach, a snowy tundra that is home to powerful monsters. It adds a new story, a new hub called Seliana and Master Rank, a new quest difficulty. After the story, the Guiding Lands give you an end game to keep hunting in.

The hunt gets bigger. According to the Steam page, the number of large monsters grows from 36 to over 66, and the story assignments from 25 to over 50. There are new armor skills, new weapon combos and a new tool, the Clutch Claw.

You can hunt alone or in co-op with other players.

The Steam version adds an uncapped frame rate, a high-resolution texture pack, ultrawide display support, DirectX 12 support and improved mouse and keyboard controls.

Which edition should I choose?
