Full Description

Chants of Sennaar is a puzzle adventure from Rundisc, published by Focus Entertainment in September 2023. The key activates the game on Steam for PC.

About Chants of Sennaar

The story is inspired by the myth of Babel. The Peoples of the Tower have been divided for ages and no longer speak to each other, kept apart by fear and mistrust. You play the Traveler, who may be able to restore the balance between them. Steam notes that it took the Best Indie Game prize at the 2024 New York Game Awards.

You climb the Tower floor by floor and meet five distinct Peoples. To talk to them you have to understand them, so you watch, listen and copy every symbol into your notebook, then use what you learned to solve puzzles.

Every floor of the Tower has its own visual identity, with its own level of technology, architecture and culture. The art is inspired by European comics authors, and the soundtrack was composed by Thomas Brunet. It is a single-player game.
