Assassin’s Creed Shadows (Ubisoft)

Assassin’s Creed Shadows is a single-player open-world action RPG from Ubisoft, released in 2025 and set in feudal Japan. The key activates on Ubisoft Connect for PC.

About Assassin’s Creed Shadows

You play two heroes and can switch between them. Naoe is a quick shinobi who relies on stealth: she hides in shadows, climbs with a grappling hook, throws shuriken and smoke bombs and finishes targets with the Hidden Blade. Yasuke is a samurai who fights openly with a katana or naginata, or takes enemies down quietly with his bow.

The open world changes with the seasons and the weather, and environmental destruction affects how you plan an approach. The game is built on an updated Anvil engine with ray-traced global illumination and real-time reflections. If you prefer, you can play with Japanese voiceover.

• Two playable characters with different play styles
• Stealth and open combat, plus parkour across castle towns, shrines and countryside
• Dynamic seasons, weather and destructible surroundings
• Single-player, with adjustable difficulty and many accessibility options

Which edition should I choose?

• Deluxe Edition: the base game plus the Sekiryu Dual Pack (gear and weapon sets for Naoe and Yasuke, the Sekiryu Beast and the Dragon Tooth trinket), the Sekiryu Hideout Pack with four hideout ornaments, and five mastery points.
