About ARK: Survival Ascended

You wake up on a mysterious island and have to survive. You gather resources, craft tools and build shelter. Hundreds of species of dinosaurs and other prehistoric creatures can be tamed, and you can breed them too. Over time you work your way up the food chain, ideally with a tribe at your side.

The game is a ground-up rebuild of the original ARK in Unreal Engine 5. Lighting reacts to the scene in real time, and grass, bushes and trees respond when characters, explosions or projectiles touch them. Water behaves dynamically too, so every creature leaves waves, ripples and splashes as it moves.

Steam lists many ways to play:
