About theHunter: Call of the Wild

The game puts you in a hunting reserve where the animals respond to what you do. You can hunt in the Layton Lake District of North America or in the leafy countryside of Hirschfelden in Europe. Each reserve has its own plants and animals, and the game models animal behavior, changing weather, day and night, realistic sound and scents carried by the wind.

You choose a rifle, sidearm, shotgun or bow, and you match your loadout and ammunition to the prey. Targets include jackrabbits, mallards, black bears, elk and moose, and each needs a different approach. Reading animal behavior and making every shot count is what the game is about.

Trophies from your best hunts go on display in your trophy lodge. Updates arrive regularly, some free and some paid, such as new reserves and gear.

Online multiplayer supports up to eight players, who can cooperate or compete for the best harvest. You can use any paid reserve if at least one player in your party owns it.

Which edition should I choose?

• Standard Edition: the base game.
• 2019 Edition: the base game plus Tents & Ground Blinds, the ATV SABER 4X4, the Medved-Taiga and Vurhonga Savanna reserves, Weapon Pack 1 and Wild Goose Chase Gear.

How to activate

Steam (PC)

1. Install Steam and sign in to your Steam account.
2. Select Games → Activate a Product on Steam in the top menu.
3. Enter the key from your order email. The game is added to your library, ready to download.

Xbox

1. Sign in to your Microsoft account at microsoft.com/redeem, or open the Microsoft Store on your console and choose Redeem.
2. Enter the 25-character key from your order email and confirm.
3. The game is added to your account. Install it from My games & apps.

Online multiplayer needs a paid membership on consoles: a Game Pass membership with online play on Xbox.

Do I need to own a paid reserve to hunt there with friends?

No. You can use a paid reserve if at least one player in your party owns it.

Can I play alone?

Yes. The game has a single-player mode.

How fast will I get my key?
