Full Description

Wartales is an open-world tactical RPG developed and published by Shiro Games, released in April 2023. Your key activates it on Steam for PC.

About Wartales

A century after the Edoran Empire fell to a plague, the land is full of mercenary work, banditry and theft. You are not a chosen hero. You lead a group of unscrupulous fighters whose goal is to survive and get rich in a harsh world. Battles are turn-based and tactical: for each fight you pick the characters, equipment and tactics that suit it.

You recruit companions with their own specializations, skills, weapon preferences and personalities, and you shape their skills, gear and looks through RPG progression and crafting. Your camp grows with luxuries, tools and equipment, and the day ends with a meal around the campfire.

The world is open. You explore villages, abandoned mines, tombs and camps, and piece together the history of the land. You take contracts and collect bounties, from protecting people against petty thieves to hunting notorious figures.
