About Warhammer 40,000: Gladius – Relics of War

The story starts on Gladius Prime, a planet that Imperial scholars saw as a site of archaeological interest. Colonists found ancient relics there, and then something woke up. The planet is now at war, and you lead one of four factions: the Astra Militarum, the Space Marines, the Orks or the Necrons. Each has its own playstyle, technology tree and storyline.

Every map is randomly generated and filled with special features and wildlife that can break your troops’ morale. You build cities, buildings and fortifications, gather resources, research new technology and raise an army. Ancient artifacts give you an edge over rival factions, and city edicts and tactical operations add more options.

Hero units gain ranks and special abilities, and you can equip them with items from advanced grenades to relics of the past. You can play against the AI or against other people. Steam lists online, LAN and split-screen PvP and co-op, with cross-platform multiplayer.
