About Tom Clancy’s Rainbow Six Siege

Siege is played in short rounds, five players against five. One team attacks and the other defends, and the sides swap during a match. Every player picks an operator with their own gadgets, so the map and your choice of operator decide how you play.

Defenders reinforce walls, build barricades and set traps, and use cameras to follow the attackers. Attackers send drones to scout the bomb site, then breach the defenses together. Walls and floors can be destroyed, which opens new lines of sight and new ways in. Attackers can also rappel down and enter through windows.

New players get a clearance level path that teaches the basics step by step. Ubisoft adds content every season, so the game keeps changing after release.

Quick Match, Unranked and Ranked playlists are available, and Siege Cup adds a tournament format. Siege also has a pro scene, the Rainbow Six Siege Esport Competition.
