About Minecraft

Minecraft has no fixed script. You gather resources, craft tools and items, and use blocks to build whatever you can imagine, from a small shelter to a large castle. You explore different biomes, dig for ores underground and defend yourself against hostile mobs, so the game works as a relaxed builder or as a survival challenge.

You can play alone or online with friends. On PC, Java Edition is known for mods and community servers, while Bedrock Edition plays together with Minecraft on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch and phones.

Which edition should I choose?

• Standard Edition: the base game. On PC it includes both Java Edition and Bedrock Edition.
• Starter Edition (Xbox): the base game plus four add-ons, the Greek Mythology Mash-Up, the Plastic Texture Pack, Skin Pack 1 and the Villains Skin Pack, and 700 Minecoins.
• Deluxe Collection (Xbox): the base game plus three add-ons, Celebration Food, Rescue Dogs and Plenty O’ Blocks, three Character Creator items (Nether Portal Wings, Pig Pal Hat and Three Villagers Coat) and 700 Minecoins.
