Console Games

Console game keys, explained

A console key is a download code. You redeem it in your console's store, the game is added to your account, and you download it from there, just as if you had bought it in that store.

How to redeem your key

• Xbox: sign in at microsoft.com/redeem, or open the Microsoft Store on the console and choose Redeem. Enter the 25-character code.
• PlayStation: open the PlayStation Store, select the menu at the top and choose Redeem Code.
• Nintendo Switch: open the Nintendo eShop, select Redeem Code and enter the 16-character code.

Before you buy

• Check the platform and region on the product page. They must match your console and account.
• Most Xbox One games also run on Xbox Series X|S, and most PS4 games run on PS5.
• Online multiplayer in most paid games needs a membership: Game Pass on Xbox, PlayStation Plus on PlayStation, Nintendo Switch Online on Switch.
