If you’re a fan of Euro Truck Simulator 2 or American Truck Simulator but feel your trucking skills could use some fine-tuning, don’t worry—help is here. SCS Software has officially launched the highly anticipated Driving Academy in both games, offering fresh content for both beginners and seasoned drivers.
The Driving Academy, which has been previewed in several livestreams over the past weeks, delivers exactly what you’d expect. It introduces a series of increasingly challenging tasks designed to sharpen your driving abilities and teach you the essentials for smooth and efficient deliveries.
To mark the release, a new trailer has been unveiled, giving you a closer look at what the Driving Academy has in store, if you haven’t seen it yet.
Both Euro Truck Simulator 2 and American Truck Simulator are available exclusively for PC and were recently updated to version 1.51, introducing several new features.
American Truck Simulator also received the Arkansas DLC, along with two new trucks: the highly anticipated Mack Pinnacle and the Fifth Generation Freightliner Cascadia. Additionally, Louisiana has just been announced and is expected to follow the Missouri DLC, which currently does not have a release date.
Euro Truck Simulator 2, which uses the same engine and follows a similar development path, is set in Europe.
A few weeks ago, both games were showcased at IAA Transportation 2024 in Hannover, further highlighting the growing connection between simulation games and real-world transportation and logistics.
